AUSTIN, TX — Pizza Patrón will be celebrating the upcoming National Pizza Day celebration with gusto: Any specialty pizza will be priced at just $5.99.
That's not a typo. The San Antonio-based Latin-inspired pizza franchise with a pair of Austin locations will offer any specialty pizza for the aforementioned price — one-of-a-kind pies such as Pizza Patrón's Patrona and Choriqueso, loaded with chorizo and fresh mozzarella, among others.

Here are the results of our investigation: A large Patrona — a supreme pie loaded with 100 percent real mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, ham, mushrooms, fresh-sliced green peppers and sweet red onions — is normally priced at $9.99.
