Woman Shot In Southeast Austin Home Invasion
Police responded to 1500 block of Sunnyvale Street amid reports of shooting, where they found woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
EAST AUSTIN, TX — Two people sustained gunshot wounds in a shooting in the southeast part of the city early Tuesday.
Police responded to the 1500 block Sunnyvale Street just before 7 a.m. amid reports of a shooting, law enforcement officials said. According to an investigation, three armed suspects — two Hispanic men and a Hispanic woman — made entry into an apartment just before 7 a.m.
A female occupant inside the residence who was shot twice was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said in an email. A male occupant was not injured, police added.

Police continue to investigate the matter to the end of locating the suspects. The address of the shooting is the Carlton Gardens Apartments.
