Allstate agency owners to earn grant for El Paso’s Center Against Sexual & Family Violence
The Allstate Foundation grant to support nonprofit's work to confront and prevent domestic violence in all its forms
EL PASO, Texas, Oct. 26, 2017 – Allstate agency owners from the El Paso-area will come together to host a supply drive and secure an Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® grant to benefit the Center Against Sexual and Family Violence. The grant will support the nonprofit organizations’ mission to confront and prevent domestic violence and sexual assault in all its forms and bring safety, support, and empowerment to survivors.
The agency owners will each earn $1,000 for the Center Against Sexual and Family Violence by collecting much-needed items during a supply drive Oct. 23 – Nov. 3. The supply drive coincides with National Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October. The public can participate by donating toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes, body wash, razors, shaving cream and baby shampoo, lotion, wipes and diapers size 3-6.
The participating Allstate volunteers are among thousands of agency owners and financial specialists around the country working to strengthen communities by volunteering their time to support the causes they care about most.

The Center Against Sexual and Family Violence is one of thousands of organizations this year to receive Allstate Foundation Helping Hands grants secured by agency owners on behalf of the nonprofits where they volunteer. The grants support organizations addressing domestic violence, youth empowerment, disaster preparedness, hunger and other causes.
