Earlier this week, Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued an Executive Order prohibiting governmental entities, which includes EPCC, from requiring mask wearing. In compliance with this order, facial coverings are no longer required for both indoor and outdoor spaces at EPCC campuses. While the college encourage face coverings in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19, especially for those who have not been vaccinated, this is no longer mandatory effective at 10:59pm tonight May 21st. Individuals who choose to wear face coverings may continue to do so.

The safety and well-being of our students and employees remains a priority. EPCC will continue to follow CDC and local health guidance as we increase our on-site operations and resume in-person classes this fall. Please stay vigilant in practices that reduce the spread of COVID-19 and other illnesses, including washing your hands. If you are able, please get a COVID-19 vaccination which can protect you and others. EPCC is offering a free vaccination clinic at the MdP campus every Friday for students, employees and the general public. Schedule your appointment by clicking here.
More details and updates about on-campus operations will be provided in the coming weeks.
