Barbara Bush Funeral Services Set
The public will have a chance to pay their respects in Houston between noon and midnight Friday. Here are all the details.

HOUSTON, TX — There will be a private funeral service this Saturday for former first lady Barbara Bush, who died Tuesday afternoon at her River Oaks estate in Houston. This private service will be held at St. Martin’s Church in Houston.
The public is asked to not walk or drive up to St. Martin's Church during that time.
Barbara Bush will lay in repose for a public viewing between noon and midnight Friday at the church. Anyone wanting to pay respects must go to Second Baptist Church at 6400 Woodway Drive to park and take a shuttle to and from St. Martin’s.

In addition, the family has asked for privacy and that the public not show up to Geo. H. Lewis and Sons Funeral Home in West Houston, where there will only be private viewings for and family invited close friends of the former first lady.
The property will be barricaded for added protection.

Just two days after the Bush family made a statement that the former first lady would not seek further medical treatment and opt for comfort care, she died surrounded by family and close friends. Bush was 92.
