Denny's Robbers Caught on Surveillance Cameras: Police

They're asking the public for tips to find the trio who held customers and workers at gunpoint on May 16.

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Police Department released a video Monday that shows surveillance images of three robbers who terrorized customers and employees last week at a Denny's restaurant in northwest Houston, according to a media report. The police believe the trio may be part of a gang that's been active in that area since December, KHOU-TV Channel 11 reported.

The robbery occurred on May 16 at a Denny's in the 1800 block of the Northwest Freeway. The three entered the restaurant, and two of them confronted the customers, including children, at gunpoint and demanded their property, according to the police.

The third suspect forced an employee at gunpoint to open a safe. The trio then fled the scene in a dark-colored, two-door vehicle, the police said.
