George H.W. Bush to Toss Coin at Super Bowl LI
Former president, recently discharged from hospital, 'didn't hesitate' to accept invitation.

It takes more than pneumonia to keep George H.W. Bush from attending the Super Bowl.
The former president will toss the coin to open the game on February 5 in Houston's NRG Stadium after accepting an invitation from Roger Goodell, the commissioner of the National Football League.
Bush was discharged from Houston Methodist Hospital on Monday after being treated for pneumonia. He spent two weeks in the hospital. His wife, Barbara, had also been admitted to the hospital, and was discharged last week.
