HISD Schools Closed Tuesday For Pending Inclement Weather

HOUSTON, TX — All Houston ISD schools and offices will be closed Tuesday (Jan. 16) because of developing inclement weather and the potential for hazardous road conditions. We will provide more updates, including affected after-hours activities like athletics, as they become available.
Temperatures are expected to plummet to the freezing mark overnight and icy road conditions are expected in the greater Houston area.
