HomeGoods To Open Galleria-Area Store

If you're looking to pick up some household goods like rugs, furniture, or linens in the Galleria area, you'll be glad to hear that a large discount retailer is moving into the neighborhood. HomeGoods, part of the TJX Companies — which also owns Marshalls and T.J. Maxx, is setting up shop in the Centre at Post Oak.

Founded in 1992, HomeGoods operates more than 500 stores in the U.S. and labels itself an off-price retailer. It sells everything from lamps to wall art to bath goods, and the new store is its eighth in the Houston area.
