Houston Bridal Stores Part Of Chain That Suddenly Closes Its Doors
Alfred Angelo Bridal, a bridal store chain based in South Florida, closed its operations on Thursday, including three stores in Houston.

HOUSTON, TX — The national bridal chain Alfred Angelo Bridal closed down quickly and unexpectedly on Thursday, leaving some future brides scrambling to get bridal gowns they've already purchased or at least get their money back on deposits. The store based in Delray Beach, Florida, all of a sudden placed "Closed" signs on all 61 of its stores.
Alfred Angelo faces an eviction action in Palm Beach County Circuit Court, according to the South Florida Business Journal. Alfred Angelo has three locations, including one in the Galleria. They also have locations near Baybrook Mall and Willowbrook Mall.
The chain store has shown signs of trouble before. According to SFBJ, "landlord G&C Arbors Investors filed an eviction lawsuit against Alfred Angelo in Palm Beach County (Florida) Circuit Court concerning its Delray Beach headquarters." The complaint says the bridal company owes $45,214, which is one month’s rent.
