Houston Galleria Announces New Stores
The Galleria announces nine new stores — from footwear to fashion and an upscale spa/salon — and the relocation of others, like Microsoft.

HOUSTON, TX — The Galleria announced it will open some new stores and relocate others. Here are the stores, what they sell and where they'll be.
NEW TENANTS
Musaafer by The Spice Route Company: A 100-day journey across India is weaving together a dazzling, magical tapestry of centuries-old regional cuisine, hidden street food, spices and post-colonial cultures. The result: a menu that will combine authenticity, tradition and a playful, fresh sense of unbridled culinary exploration. A high energy bar and lounge will be a major feature of the restaurant, serving “farm to glass” artisanal cocktails. Musaafer is the first restaurant for The Spice Route Company in the US, with Houston being the inaugural location for the concept that will be developed in other major cities in the future.

Quay Australia: With its roots in music festivals and spontaneous travel adventures, Quay Australia is a sunglasses brand for freewheeling, fearless individuals seeking to master the art of having fun. Founded in 2004 by Melbourites Linda and Allen Hammond, the company is known for sunnies with oversized frames and playful, exuberant designs that are affordable enough to collect and pair with every outfit.

Dance With Me: Founded by champion and celebrity dancers—Maks & Val Chmerkovskiy, and Tony Dovolani from Dancing With the Stars—Dance With Me dance studios offer the ultimate dance experience blending fun, ease, and comfort with quality dance instruction— in the most beautiful dance studios. Popbar: Popbar serves handcrafted gelato, sorbetto, and yogurt in a new way – on a stick. All pops are made in-house daily with all natural ingredients. On the menu, guests will find 40+ rotating flavors ranging from classics (Chocolate, Vanilla) to the more unique (Green Tea, Passion Fruit), and even seasonal ones too (Watermelon, Pumpkin Pie). Pops are customizable with premium dippings and toppings that include dark, milk, and white chocolate, nuts, sprinkles, waffle cone, caramel corn, and more.

Maison Luisant: An upscale salon and spa, Maison Luisant is born out of a sincere understanding and passion for Couture Esthetics in Makeup, Fragrance, Skincare, Body, Hair and Health, in addition to the pursuit for lasting wellness. ‘Luisant’ translates to shimmering in French and offers a clue to the brand’s focus on a renewal of artistic principals to create an experience few have encountered in beauty and aesthetics.

Charles Tyrwhitt: Tyrwhitt is a British menswear retailer that focuses on quality pieces that are effortlessly easy to wear. From wonderfully tailored suiting to Northampton-made shoe selection, products are timeless with no compromise on quality.

XD Ride Virtual Adventure: Explore your imagination and change your reality at XD Ride Virtual Adventure! The line between reality and illusion is blurred as 5D, 7D, 8D and 9D movies let you become part of the action instead of watching passively. The movie ride will overwhelm the senses featuring surround sound, active motion luxury seats and dramatic special effects such as wind, lightning, rain, snow, fog, bubble, air blast, aroma, touch, feel and more!

Brow Art 23: Brow Art 23 is an eyebrow threading boutique that provides customers a wide range of beauty and skincare services such as threading, waxing, henna tattoos and skincare consultations.

Footaction USA/Flight 23: Footaction offers high-quality, branded athletic footwear and apparel as well as exclusive styles available only at Footaction from Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Timberland, K-Swiss and other leading brands. Flight 23 is a partnership between Nike-owned Jordan Brand and Foot Locker-owned Footaction that exclusively sell Michael Jordan-brand shoes and apparel.

RELOCATIONS
MCM: Founded in Germany in 1976, MCM creates timeless pieces reflecting the stylish sensibilities of the well-traveled sophisticate. MCM is also the Roman numeral for 1900 and symbolizes the turn of the 20th century, when a sense of discovery and exploration through travel was born. Handcrafted MCM bags and carryalls serve travelers and explorers, sightseers and wanderers, reflecting a confident, cultured aesthetic.

Microsoft: Microsoft’s retail store is a top source for the hottest new technology and best in personalized service. Customers can test-drive, play with and explore all Windows 10 PCs, Windows Phone, Xbox and Kinect. The store’s interactive environment makes shopping for technology easy and fun.

Thirstys: Thirsty’s offers a wide variety of smoothies, ice creams, frozen yogurts and drinks. High in protein, each smoothie is made with fresh fruits, juice and yogurt, providing a tremendous amount of vitamins.
New Location: Rink Level, Post Office Wing // 240 square feet // Opens Spring
Chico’s: The Chico’s brand was founded in 1983 as a boutique selling Mexican folk art and cotton sweaters from a store in Florida’s Sanibel Island. Today, Chico’s sells exclusively designed, private branded clothing for women featuring a combination of great style with on-trend, expressive and one-of-a-kind designs to yield a wardrobe that is fashionable, unique and comfortable.
