Lamar High Students Now Expected To Wear Jackets And Full Uniform

School uniform policy that was put on hold by the district after Hurricane Harvey is now back on.

HOUSTON, TX — As school returns on Monday, students and parents at Lamar High School are reminded that school uniform jackets need to be worn — in addition to full uniform tops and bottoms — at Lamar High School when classes convene from the holiday break.

To assist your child with the cold weather during the winter months, Lamar will have jackets available for purchase when students return from the holiday break. Uniform jackets are required as part of the dress code, which was put on hold by the district ion the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

Jackets can be purchased at the Lamar school store or at Academic Outfitters, located at 5475 West Loop Street Suite 150.

Students are expected to be in full compliance with the uniform code in 2018. This includes both normal school uniforms and any outerwear worn over uniforms during the school day. Thanks for your cooperation.
