Leibman's Closes, Puts Down Roots in New Houston Location

The old Leibman's might be a thing of the past, but a new generation is beginning the next chapter in the beloved food and wine store's tale.

Etienne and Ralph Leibman have passed on the torch to their daughter, Sharon Leibman, who is now in charge of Liebman's.

Leibman's did business at 14529 Memorial for nearly 40 decades, but that location was shuttered at the end of March. Leibman's now location at at 10100 Katy Freeway, at the corner of Gessner, a busy area with lots of car traffic.

"We will truly miss our neighbors, but welcome one and all to check out the new store when it opens," said the Leibmans.

The store sells wine, gift baskets and other items, and operates a deli and a catering business.
