Macy's To Hire 450 Seasonal Positions In Greater Houston Area

HOUSTON, TX — Macy's announced it will add 450 full-time and part-time seasonal workers at its Houston-area stores as part of a nationwide push to to add 7,000 seasonal workers nationwide. According to a press release, they will host hiring events at 10 local stores from 1-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5.

Job openings include servicing the selling floor, aiding operations and fulfilling online and mobile orders. Applicants are encouraged to apply for open jobs online at macysJOBS.com before going to the on-site interviews so "candidates can expect a warm and comfortable hiring experience," per the release.

"Macy's has had a great start to this holiday season with high customer volume across our business," John Harper, Macy's chief stores officer, said in a news release. "Due to the strong traffic in our stores, we are adding associates in our stores across the country to ensure that customers continue to receive the high level of service they have come to expect from us."

The local Macy’s locations that will host a job fair on Dec. 5:

• First Colony Mall: 16511 Southwest Freeway in Sugar Land
• San Jacinto Mall: 5000 San Jacinto Mall in Baytown
• Willowbrook Mall: 4000 Willowbrook Drive
• The Woodlands Mall: 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive in The Woodlands
• Baybrook Mall: 200 Baybrook Mall in Friendswood
• Deerbrook Mall: 20131 Highway 59 N in Humble
• Almeda Mall: 100 Almeda Genoa Road
• Pearland Town Center: 11200 Broadway St., Suite 950, in Pearland
