Masked Men Rob Galleria Walmart Friday Morning, Then Get Away
A massive hunt is underway for three masked men who robbed several cash registers at the Galleria-area Walmart Friday morning.

HOUSTON, TX — Police swarmed a Walmart in the Galleria area early Friday morning after learning three suspects were robbing the giant retail store. By the time police arrived to 5405 S. Rice Blvd., close to Houston Community College, the suspects had already left and a massive hunt is underway right now in Houston.
Officers received a call of the burglary around 9:05 a.m. Friday and responded with a heavy presence. Upon arrival, police got conflicting statements from witnesses that the suspects were already gone while some said they were still there. HPD also got reports of gunfire, but after investigation, warned that to be false.
"Right now what we have is three suspects entered the store masked up, hoodies up, and they left shortly thereafter in a vehicle," HPD executive chief Troy Finner said. "I know that they robbed several cash registers."

Finner went on to say the suspects robbed the Walmart cash registers only, and not any cash from the bank inside the store.
Police said they have some vehicle information on the suspects and that they will put together a play-by-play of the robbery through Walmart's intricate system of surveillance cameras.
