Masked Men Storm Galleria Marriott Hotel To Steal ATM

Witnesses said 7-10 men stormed the lobby, and threatened employees before taking the ATM and driving off.

HOUSTON, TX — Police are looking for seven to 10 men who raided the Galleria Marriott Hotel early Tuesday and stole an ATM machine from the lobby.

Witnesses told investigators that seven to 10 masked men stormed into the hotel lobby 1700 block of South Loop West at about 2:30 a.m.

Witnesses said the men threatened hotel employees before grabbing the ATM machine from the lobby and carrying it out the front door, KTRK reported.

The men put the ATM machine in the back of a Dodge Magnum, before driving off in the vehicle, another Dodge Magnum, and a Chevrolet Impala, KPRC reported.

No one was injured.

Police are reviewing surveillance video from the robbery and ask anyone with any information to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
