Shooting Fatality Wednesday Morning In West Houston

HPD seeks clues in man shot to death early Wednesday outside a residence in Westchase.

HOUSTON, TX — Houston police are investigating the shooting death of a man Wednesday morning at 2205 Hayes Road in West Houston. The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to the report, HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at 3:25 a.m. today and found the victim lying in the parking lot with gunshot wounds. HFD paramedics responded and pronounced him dead at the scene. According to witnesses, loud screaming was heard followed by several gunshots.

A dark-colored, four-door sedan was seen fleeing the scene immediately after the shooting.

At this time, there are no known suspects.
