In-N-Out Burger Chooses Houston Location: Tax Records

In-N-Out Burger, widely acclaimed as one of the best fast-food burgers in the country, purchased land in West Houston recently

HOUSTON, TX — In-N-Out Burger's implementation in Houston took another step forward as tax records indicate the popular burger chain purchased land on 8373 Westheimer Road. This would be the first of possibly many locations for In-N-Out in the Greater Houston area, and will probably fuel the fire on which is better — Texas' Whataburger or California's In-N-Out?

The California-based chain apparently purchased the property a couple of months ago, after it was long-rumored the chain would enter the Houston market. In-N-Out has restaurants scattered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

The location is approximately halfway between Beltway 8 and the I-610 West Loop and a couple blocks north of Westpark Tollway.

The Houston Chronicle first reported on this a few months ago, and stated once the company quietly comes in and starts, they build their properties quickly.
