Top Cajun Restaurants In Houston For Mardi Gras Weekend
There's more to Cajun food than crawfish and hot sauce. Not much, but here are recommended Cajun restaurants for Mardi Gras weekend.

HOUSTON, TX — They call it Fat Tuesday for a reason. The Carnival season ends the day before Ash Wednesday, which starts the fasting season. Thus, folks gorge on rich, fatty food and booze before repentance.
Some would say the party never really ends in New Orleans or, more specifically, The French Quarter. Folks will celebrate Mardi Gras (which means "Fat Tuesday" in French) this weekend. And what better way to find some Cajun food, a hurricane cocktail and perhaps an Abita.
Instead of looking through the yellow pages or poring through several websites, we took the liberty of compiling a master list of all the most-recommended Cajun restaurants from Houston. Enjoy the weekend and, as they say in New Orleans, "laissez les bons temps rouler" — let the good times roll.
