UH Cougars Begin NCAA Basketball Tournament Tonight
UH tips off at 6:20 p.m. against San Diego State. Here's where to see the game and what happens next.
HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Cougars basketball team begin their journey in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. The No. 6 seed team in the West Region, the Cougars (26-7) will face No. 11 seed San Diego State (22-10) at 6:20 p.m. The game can be seen live on TNT.
The Cougars finished runner-up in the AAC Tournament last Sunday. The Aztecs won the Mountain West Conference championship by beating Nevada and New Mexico to earn the conference's automatic NCAA Tournament bid.
The winner of tonight's game advances to the round of 32 Saturday to play the winner of tonight's game between No. 3-seed Michigan and No. 14-seed Montana. That game will immediately follow UH tonight on TNT.
