Woman Assaulted In Memorial City Mall Restroom: Houston PD
Man approached her from behind and strangled her with a plastic bag, then kicked her repeatedly. Police seek help finding the suspect.

HOUSTON, TX — Houston police are investigating an assault that happened at Memorial City Mall Sunday morning. Police said that after a 31-year-old woman walked into a restroom around 8:30 a.m. at the mall, she was confronted by an unknown man who approached her from behind and placed a trash bag around her neck.
Police said the suspect strangled the victim until she lost consciousness, and then he kicked her repeatedly before fleeing and boarded a METRO bus southbound on Gessner Street.
The woman was taken to an area hospital where she is expected to survive, according to doctors.

The suspect is described as a black male in the 25-35 age range, somewhere from 5-foot-10 to 6-foot and weighing somewhere between 160-180 pounds.
