The Darth Vader House is the unique brainchild of Dr. Jean Cukier, a Houston-area plastic surgeon who played an integral role in the design and layout of the house. He wanted the home to be "dark and mysterious," a representative from Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty told Patch.
While his inspiration for the home was a stealth fighter, it also bore an uncanny resemblance to a certain well-known Sith lord.

As result, the neighborhood dubbed the home "The Darth Vader House." And, since he was a "Star Wars" fan, Cukier embraced the moniker, the listing agent told Patch.
While the museum-style home might look a bit foreboding from the street, its interior is light, open and welcoming. The back yard is a grassy oasis.
The house's open rooms and massive windows allow an abundance of natural light. The home also comes with Death Star-size number of custom features including blue laser lighting, skylights, ample closets, a four-car garage and versatile living spaces atop a nearly half-acre lot.
The home has four bedrooms and five bathrooms.
