Amazon Grocery-Delivery Service To Expand In Houston
Move comes on heels of company's $14 billion offer for Austin-based Whole Foods.
HOUSTON, TX — Jeff Bezos has guided Amazon to strength after strength, and now, weeks after the company made an offer of $14 billion for Austin-based Whole Foods, AmazonFresh is set to expand in Houston.
According to Realty News Report, the grocery division of the e-commerce juggernaut is gearing up to operate in a facility in northwest Houston that will occupy more than 100,000 square feet of space. The warehouse will be located in the Fallbrook Pines Business Park.
According to the story in Realty News Report, the facility will serve as a grocery logistics operation for the Bayou City.

Whole Foods operates 466 stores across the nation, and Amazon would with certainty, once the purchase deal is approved, use its distribution network to sell and deliver groceries and other items carried by the food chain.
