Houston Boy With 'No Friends' Is Going To Have A Grand Birthday Party
Kaden Wilson's plea pulled the heartstrings of a police officer in Little Rock in a big way.

HOUSTON, TX — The party is scheduled for June 25, and it's going to be big. Huge, even. Not bad for a little boy who not so long ago was worried that he did not have enough friends for a birthday party. Kaden Wilson has plenty of them now.
Kaden, who turns 7 on June 26, told his mother recently that no one liked him and that no one would come to his party even if he had one. She sent a message to Officer Tommy M. Norman's Facebook page asking if people could send birthday cards to the boy, and the rest is, well, the rest is still unfolding, and Norman, a hero to many in North Little Rock — his hometown and where he works on the police force— and beyond, is the reason.
When the police officer, a proponent of community policing and outreach, saw the mother's request, he sprang into action and posted his own request on Facebook:

As reported by KHOU, a volunteer helping Norman said that a well-wisher — who remains anonymous — paid for 40 children's places at the party, and the trampoline park is helping other kids attend by offering a discounted admission price. In addition, myriad people in Houston have said they would donate cakes, cupcakes and other items to help make Kaden Wilson's Big Party special.
Norman, who works with the First Stripe Project, an organization that fosters and supports community policing, is sending a representative to the party, and officers and personnel from the Houston and Harris County police departments and the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department will be on hand to celebrate with Kaden.
Norman has also established a PayPal account to help pay for Kaden's party:
If you want to send Kaden a card, here's the address: 9201 Fairbanks N. Houston Road, Houston, TX 77064.
Where have all the heroes gone? Well, one is alive and doing well in Little Rock, Arkansas.
