Man, 62, Dies From Thursday Wreck Near The Heights

A man who rolled his Ford Explorer last Thursday died from his injuries Monday. Crash under investigation.

HOUSTON, TX — A man involved in a single-car crash last Thursday died from his injuries on Monday. Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that happened at 2700 North Freeway (I-45 North) around 3 p.m. last Thursday.

Police say a man was driving a green Ford Explorer when he attempted to exit the freeway at Main Street. The Explorer rolled over and he was ejected. The 62-year-old man, whose identity hasn't yet been released, was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition Thursday, and succumbed to his injuries four days later.

There were no other vehicles or people involved.
