Metallica Pop-Up Store Set To Rock Your Fashion World

HOUSTON, TX — They're a huge band, with a huge fanbase, so it was only a matter of time before Metallica joined in on the action and added a pop-up store to their tours.

That's right, when the band comes to Houston in June, you'll be able to shop to your heart's content at the Metallica Pop-Up Store, which will do business June 9-11 (location and hours to come).

The WorldWired Tour kicks off in Baltimore on May 10 — supporting Hardwired ... To Self Destruct — and it's a certainty that T-shirts, sweatshirts, lighters, music, and lots of other branded goodies will move like hotcakes as fans around the nation rock and buy.

Here's what the band said about their merchandising mecca:

The store will include tour merchandise, unique items only found at the pop-up stores including lithographs, coolers, NFL compliant clear bags, the exclusive live recording from Webster Hall on vinyl and lots more. You’ll also be able to enter to win cool prizes like snake-pit passes and autographed goodies.

The first Metallica Pop-up Store opened in New York at 96 Spring Street on May 12.
