Photos: Bush Library Gets Overwhelming Sunday Crowd
More than 1,000 people flooded the library museum during the first two hours Sunday to pay respects to the late Barbara Bush.

COLLEGE STATION, TX — The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum drew a couple thousand visitors on Sunday, with just about everyone of them paying respect to the late Barbara Bush, who passed away last week at age 92.
The weather couldn't have been more perfect and the admission was free for all who entered. Inside the museum, the rotunda was adorned with photos of the former first lady, and there were books for visitors to sign their names in condolence.
The tour guides said that Thursday last week was busy. And with the library closed Friday and Saturday to make way for Mrs. Bush's funeral arrangements, it reopened Sunday free to the public through Tuesday night.
