Thanksgiving Travel Tips: Lowest Gas Prices, Weather Forecast
AAA says nearly 51 million people will travel for Thanksgiving — nearly 4 million in Texas the highest number in 12 years.

HOUSTON, TX — Kudos to all the Thanksgiving chefs hosting dinner this week at your own house with perhaps friends and family coming to visit. But for those hitting the road this week, plan ahead as Thanksgiving traffic this week could be the most congested in 12 years, per the report from the American Automobile Association (AAA).
The popular automotive club estimates that 51 people nationwide will hit the road this week, with the busiest days on Wednesday and Friday — and Sunday as well. Good news for Houston is the weather will be absolutely gorgeous this weekend, with a high on Wednesday in the 60's and a chilly start to the morning on Thursday before warming up to the low 60s.
More good news for Houstonians is the gas prices, with some places around town selling it for less than $2 per gallon, per gas buddy.com. Here is the link to where some of the lowest prices are.
