Track Santa Claus As He Winds Around The World

Sunday morning Texas time, Santa was spotted in Central Asia during his flight around the world to spread joy, cheer and, of course, toys.

In some parts of the world, it's all a good night for the boys and girls awaiting Christmas morning to see what Santa Claus has brought them. While it's cold and sunny in Texas on Sunday morning, it's nighttime in other parts of the earth where Santa and his reindeer have begun the worldwide journey of spreading joy and cheer.

Patch has put together a pair of tracking tools to see where Santa Claus has been spotted during his journey.

First is North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), which has been tracking Santa and his reindeer every year since 1955. It shows Santa's last major stop and the duration for his next stop.

And of course it wouldn't be internet tracking of Santa without Google Maps providing pinpoint precision of Rudolph, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and Kris Kringle himself.

So to all the Texas boys and girls and all kids around the world, we hope you were good this year. Be sure to leave a snack for Santa because, as you can see, it's a long and tiresome trip around the world with cold weather and billions of toys.
