Woman Sought For Shooting Man To Death In Car

Police officials say Alex Ortega died in a car parked in front of the Candlelight Manor Apartments.

HOUSTON, TX — The crime occurred on June 15, and it left a young man dead. Alex Ortega, 22, was the victim, and police are searching for a black female who they say fired several shots into the vehicle.

According to police officials, Ortega was in the car with two female passengers, and all three were speaking with another woman standing outside the car. The woman outside the car then opened fire on the car, striking and killing Ortega.

The women in the car were unharmed, and gave a description of the shooter to police officers. They added that she was slim and athletic and in her teens or early 20s.
