3 Teens Injured In ATV Crash In Northeast Houston
Three teens were injured when they crashed into a mailbox on an ATV and were ejected, police said.
HOUSTON — A 14-year-old boy was critically injured after he and two other teens were ejected from an ATV after crashing into a mailbox. The accident happened Sunday night in the 3900 block of Cedar Hill Road in northeast Harris County.
According to investigators, a 13-year-old girl was driving the ATV on a public road with two 14-year-old boys, when the driver swerved to avoid a dog in the roadway and crash into the mailbox.
All three teens were thrown from the ATV and were injured. One of the boys suffered serious head trauma from the crash and is in critical condition at an area hospital

Investigators said none of the teens were wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Deputies are now trying to determine who owns the ATV. The crash is under investigation.
