Ask The Gardener - " What can I do about damaged oak branches...?

Q: Most of the outer branches on our 14-year-old laurel oak tree dried up and died after the February freeze. The only green leaf growth is along the main trunk. Should we cut off all the dead growth now or wait until fall?
