Atascocita Golf Club manager suffers traumatic injury

In mid-December, Ken Kirchhofer, who is the general manager of the Atascocita Golf Club, suffered a devastating spinal injury that resulted in cervical spine surgery, leaving Kirchhofer immobilized from the waist down.
To make matters worse, Kirchhofer does not have health insurance. According to his GoFundMe page, this lack of insurance is common in the golf industry; the Atascocita Golf Club does not supply health insurance for its employees. Without health insurance, Kirchhofer and his family have been subjected to a variety of expenses, including rehabilitation, physical therapy, the ER, etc.
