Atascosita Road Rage Incident Lands Man in Hospital

A man involved in a road rage incident in Atascosita wound up in the hospital

ATASCOSITA, TX — It may not be clear where the argument started, but everyone knows where it ended: in the middle of F.M. 1960.

At around 10 p.m. on the night of Saturday, Aug. 13, two vehicles, a black Ford F-250 and another car, were headed east on 1960 towards Huffman.

Something happened that got the people in the vehicles arguing, it could have been one of the drivers coming off a green light a little too slow. It really doesn't matter what got everyone's blood boiling, all that matters is that the people in the two vehicles didn't seem interested in letting bygones be gone.

He lost his grip, fell to the pavement and struck his head. The driver of the vehicle initially stopped to check on his friend, but burned off when witnesses said they were calling the cops.

The guy who fell was taken to Ben Taub, condition unknown. The driver who watched his friend take a header turned himself into the cops for questioning on the morning of Monday, Aug. 15. No word on the people in the pick-up.

The investigation, as they say, is ongoing so no charges have been filed at this time.
