Cool and adventurous attractions are on tap with the grand opening of Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures At Grand Texas which opens Saturday

NEW CANEY, TX — Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures At Grand Texas in New Caney is celebrating the end of the school year with its soft grand opening this weekend. The 80-acre combined water and adventure destination, located within the Grand Texas 632-acre entertainment, will open this Saturday with live music and a ton of amazing water attractions, park officials announced on Thursday.
But there will be admission discounts this weekend as the park celebrates the start of its inaugural season.

- Half off admission for day passes purchased at the gate.
- All season pass holders and annual pass holders will get an extra month added on to their current pass, extending through the end of June 2020.
- Visitors who have already purchased a day pass online will receive one free pass, per purchased day pass, that they can use in the 2019 season. Visitors will receive their complimentary return pass from guest services with proof of purchase.
Visitors and guest will get to experienced cool and adventurous attractions this weekend and throughout the hot Houston summer, including:
- Boca Chica Bay Wave Pool: Stay cool in the best pool in town
- Cougar Climb Climbing Wall: Embark on one of the tallest climbing walls in Texas
- Rio GRAND Lazy River: Grab the family and float down Houston’s biggest lazy river
- Big Al’s Farm Friends: Families can interact with more 30 animals at the petting zoo
- Falcon’s Flight: Zip across the park to three different towers
- Hawk’s Glide: For zip line beginners, visitors can fly among the trees within the park
- Mystic Forest Maze: Maneuver through the hidden mysteries and challenge your friends
- Pony Express: Catch a pony ride and create memories
- Raccoon Run: A zip line perfect for the younger guests
- Vulture’s Dive: Free-fall from seven stories high while strapped into a safety harness
There are more attractions at Big Rivers Waterpark & Adventures At Grand Texas, but park has big plans to unveil more cool attractions this summer to make visitors wanting to come back for more adventures and fun.
