CERT Training to Begin
A Community Emergency Response Team training class will be held in Atascocita.

ATASCOCITA, TX — A Community Emergency Response Team training class is set to begin on Sept. 13. The class size is limited, which allows for students to have a more hands-on approach.
The free class will meet every Tuesday night from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for eight weeks. The class will cover general disaster preparation, fire suppression, basic first aid and light search and rescue training.
The point of contact for the class is Carole Chambers, the former president of the board for the Humble Community Response Task Force. Chambers stepped down from her position in June.
