City of Humble postpones election due to virus pandemic

The City of Humble voted to postpone the city election due to the coronavirus pandemic. On March 26, the Humble City Council convened to discuss postponing the general election previously scheduled for May 2. The city held the meeting virtually, a first.
Humble City Mayor Merle Aaron thanked everyone for being present virtually on the call. The session was held virtually due to the coronavirus concerns nationwide.
