Construction Kicking Off on West Lake Houston Parkway

KINGWOOD, TX — Commuters should expect delays on West Lake Houston Parkway.

The northbound lanes between Sycamore Springs Drive and Appalachian Trail, a distance of about one-quarter mile, will be closed and traffic will be detoured onto the new southbound lanes to allow for the construction of a pedestrian tunnel.

Construction is expected to take about 60 days, depending on the weather.
