Davidson, Settle, Bentley file for Humble City Council seat

Two unopposed candidates in the Humble City Council election were declared winners and sworn to their positions in May. Three candidates, meanwhile, continue to vie for Humble City Council Place 4 currently held by Allen Steagall who chose not to run again. The Place 4 face-off will be held during the Nov. 3 general election.
Norman Funderburk, incumbent for City Council Place 3, and David Ray Pierce, incumbent for City Council Place 5, were unopposed and declared winners, according to Humble City Secretary Jenny Page. They were sworn in prior to the May 14 city council meeting.
