Disc Golf Club proposes course maintenance arrangements at River Grove Park
The Kingwood Service Association (KSA) Parks Committee heard from members of the River Grove Disk Golf Club at their June meeting to consider a joint working relationship to improve and maintain the River Grove Park Disc Golf Course.
Club President Scott Campbell and Vice President Coleman Weatherspoon suggested that their organization could supply volunteers and funding to make improvements to the course and help with ongoing maintenance. They noted large increases in the people using the course recently and pointed out there are now over 30 courses in and around Houston. However, most are not near the Northeast Houston area. River Grove Park is both close and unique.
