Edgewater Park to provide new opportunities for residents

Construction is ongoing at Edgewater Park, a recent endeavor initiated by Harris Country Precinct 4 that aims to provide several amenities to the public as well as flood mitigation efforts.
The new park will be located in Kingwood at Hamblen Road and Loop 494 (see graphic). Harris County had previously purchased four parcels of land spanning approximately 90 acres to facilitate the construction activities taking place at Edgewater Park, which was previously privately owned.
