The Fab 5 returns to Bender

The Fab 5 returns to Bender

Houston’s own Fab 5, a 1960s Beatles tribute band, returns to The Bender stage July 12.
These boys got their start in 1991 at an Italian Restaurant in The Woodlands, then shared the stage with some of America’s best performers, including ZZ Top, Motley Crue, Three Dog Night, Steppenwolf, The Beach Boys, America, The Turtles, The Temptations, Peter Noone and Herman’s Hermits, The Grassroots, Tommy James and the Shondells, Little Richard – and that’s just a partial list.
The Fab 5 have won a special place in the hearts of Houston’s Beatles fans because these boys are Houston-based and Paul Byron, a guitarist, bassist, keyboardist and vocalist, is a native Houstonian.
Multiple talented Houstonians have performed as the Fab 5 since it was created 28 years ago. Byron joined the Fab 5 in 2011. Joe Baiardi is a native New Yorker who met John Lennon when he lived there and played the Paul McCartney role in the national Beatles Tribute act, “Come Together.” Joe’s been a Fab 5 since 2003.
