FM 1960 improvements will create brief power outages
Businesses and residents along FM 1960 in Atascocita will experience brief power outages as power posts are relocated, part of a $98 million widening and improvement of one of Lake Houston’s major transportation arteries.
Businesses affected as the power posts are relocated will be contacted, according to Arodi Gonzalez of CenterPoint Energy. Gonzalez joined Danny Perez and Philip Garlin of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) in updating the progress of the FM 1960 road widening project at Partnership Lake Houston’s Atascocita BizCom held virtually on June 10.
