HPD Looking for Info on Kingwood Sexual Assault Suspect

HPD is looking for information about a man suspected of committing a sexual assault in Kingwood.

KINGWOOD, TX — HPD is looking for info about a possible sexual assault suspect in the Humble-Kingwood area.

Around 3 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, Aug. 6, a 21-year-old woman walked into the HPD Kingwood substation and claimed that she had been sexually assaulted.

She told the cops that she had been drinking at a bar in Atascosita and was about to head home. She said that she was planning on caling for an Uber, but a man she had been talking to volunteered to giver her a ride home.

The woman accepted the offer of a ride, rather than have a stranger take her to her house she had the man drop her off outside of a friend's apartment. She told the police that once they arrived at her friend's apartment complex the man refused to let her out of the car and sexually assaulted her.

She claimed that she repeatedly fought the man off and that he eventually forced her out of the vehicle and drove off.

The incident is being investigated by HPD's Special Victims Division, and they are being pretty tight lipped about it. They are also looking for more information about the alleged perpetrator, as well as any other potential victims.
