Huberty files for re-election, receives Abbott's endorsement
State Rep. Dan Huberty has filed for re-election to House District (HD) 127.
“It has been my honor to serve the residents of HD 127 in Austin since my initial election in 2010 and I look forward to returning to the Capitol building to continue to represent them,” Huberty stated.
Huberty was first elected in 2011 and said while some speculated he would not run again for a seventh term, it was always his intention to return to the legislature.
