Huffman ISD Board discusses school district rating, flood damage

During an Oct. 28 pre-meeting, the Huffman ISD Board of Trustees heard that the district received an “A-Superior” rating under Texas’ Schools FIRST financial accountability rating system.
“We are very pleased with Huffman ISD’s Schools FIRST rating, as it shows that our district is making the most of our taxpayers’ dollars,” said Superintendent Dr. Benny Soileau.
The Schools FIRST accountability rating system assigns a rating to Texas school districts as either “A-Superior,” “B-Above Standard,” “C-Meets Standard,” or “F-Substandard Achievement.”
