Huffman ISD school board holds pre-meeting workshop with PBK officials, public hearing regarding bullying

The Huffman ISD board members heard a plea against bullying during their March meeting. Several students and parents were present to hear and support Emily Endsley as she spoke about kids bullying kids and creating a plan of action.
Endsley came to the podium urging the board members to change policies and hold students accountable for bullying. She described a young boy within the district, a 12-year-old student with autism and cerebral palsy, who was jumped at school. More needs to be done to help the families involved and to prevent this from happening in the future, she said.
