Humble Bank Robber Wanted by FBI

Humble, TX -- A serial bank robber is on the loose in Montgomery County and Northern Harris County. The FBI is looking a white male with a slim build who appears to be in his mid twenties to thirties.

The man is allegedly responsible for four bank robberies in June. His MO is to pass the teller a note saying if he doesn't get money he'll start shooting. Since none of the robberies have been violent, the FBI doesn't know if he actually has a gun.

But they are getting concerned because his threats are escalating as he grows more confident. So far he's limited himself to banks in Houston's northern suburbs.

On June 1 he hit the Prosperity Bank, 3205 College Park Dr., in The Woodlands. Then on June 15 it was the Shell Federal Credit Union, 4787 Wilson Rd., in Humble.

On June 23 he hit the Capital One Bank, 9455 North Sam Houston Pkwy. East, in Humble. He closed out the month by hitting the BBVA Compass Bank, 1532 Spring Cypress Rd., in Spring.

Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the bank robber.
