Humble Bingo Hall Holding Fundraiser in Memory of 6-Month-Old Girl

The Humble Bingo Hall will hold a fundraiser on Aug. 13 in honor of a 6-month-old girl who passed away in July.

HUMBLE, TX — Ava Annette-Lynn Pollock passed away in July, she was six-months old. When her father found her on July 13 she wasn't breathing and had turned blue. With the assistance of a 9-1-1 dispatcher he began performing CPR.

When she got to the hospital the doctors determined that she had no brain functions. They blamed Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, or SIDS.

In an effort to raise money for Ava’s family for medical and funeral expenses, and awareness about SIDS, a benefit will be held in Ava’s memory at the Humble Bingo Hall,210 W. First Street, in Humble on Saturday, Aug. 13, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The event will feature barbecue and sides, a cake walk, a 50/50 raffle, face painting, bounce houses, basket auction and a car and monster truck show.
