Humble City Council denies signage request from Lamb of God church

(Tribune)

The normally somber proceedings of the Humble City Council had a different tone Nov. 14. Members of the Lamb of God Lutheran Church submitted a packet with several exhibits and pictures explaining their request for permission to construct a 55-foot tall, 378-square-foot sign located on the campus at 1400 FM 1960.
Once the council declined the request, the pastor became upset and the entire group left in a huff. The church requested a variance from the Humble City Sign Ordinance.
